Alice House is looking for new Board Members! Alice House is a women led organization. We provide safe second-stage housing and supportive counselling for women and children in Nova Scotia who are in need of safety, healing and support. The Alice House Board of Directors is a volunteer body that provides direction and governance to the Executive Director of Alice House and helps shape the direction the organization. All skills, background and talents are welcomed and there is... an immediate need for those with Financial and Human Resources knowledge. Board terms are for four-years, and the monthly time commitment is an average of 1-2 hours, with more occasionally to support larger initiatives like events. It is hard to believe that Christmas is a day away and that 2020 will be coming to close soon after. It has been such a challenging year on so many fronts. From our entire staff team we want to extend our most sincere gratitude to all the individuals and groups who reached out, provided support, follow us on social media and encourage us along the way.
