It was so wonderful to meet up with beautiful bride Lauren once again and deliver new art to the newlyweds. We first met in Park City, Utah, where she was celebrating her bachelorette and after the wedding, I was thrilled to be able to deliver her art while travelling through New Hampshire on the way home from a few east coast art shows. Congrats to you and your groom, Lauren! Wishing you years of inspiring, art-filled years of joy ahead.

Again the season of winter, and again, I find myself in the studio, exploring different ideas. Except here I am this year, working on a piece I started last year. Am I going in circles? Sometimes it feels like it!

It's a new year, the sun is shining, the studio is ready. I'm looking forward to the quiet, creative time of winter. Thank you for all your virtual hugs and support through the year. I'm feeling hopeful that by this time next year, we'll have made some new memories offline together.

Happy Birthday to this guy, my guy Mark Vander Vennen. Not only does he turn 65 today, he is officially retiring from his position as the executive director of Shalem Mental Health Network, a community based mental health organization. And while he is retiring from that official position he is not retiring from being my photographer, image editor, web master, book editor, chauffeur, art booth constructor,show runner, art installer, delivery guy, auto mechanic, IT guy etc...... He is all those things and so much more. Love this guy!

Already the forest covered in snow is the most wonderful place to be. It fills me with inspiration and hope, and I see that reflected in the artwork. This piece is Virtuoso.
