What a yearrrrr! It’s hard to believe we’re going into 2021 tomorrow!? THANK YOU to all my amazing clients who made 2020 the best it could be! I am so grateful for every single one of you! It’s the season for proposals congrats to all the newly engaged couples during these next couple weeks!! Such an exciting time in your life! Has anyone else been spending time going through old photos?? Spent all morning reminiscing on the trip Oliver & I took to the UK last December We spent two weeks driving around Ireland & then flew over to Wales to spend Christmas with my family. Walking into Charline’s bride prep had me so excited! Charline is incredibly talented & extremely detail oriented. All her wedding details were so beautiful & well thought out. She had her bride prep box all ready for me to photograph & it was probably the most unique, meaningful details I have ever seen! She had her grandparents love letters, photos of them, pocket squares & let me tell you it was pretty incredible documenting all of these special details. A little story a...bout her grandparents... . The letter written was a love letter from March 1951. They were living in different cities at the time; & because they were not married, they had to travel back & forth to see each other. They met & fell in love at a typical summer French musette ball, where everyone got together to dance the night away on the plaza in front of the village church. . They got married in December 3rd, 1951 & lived happily ever after. How incredible!? Make sure to add your vows in a memory box to look back on years later! See more

Golden hour is one of the best times to go out for photos for sureeee BUT this mid day light is magical as well! I love the brightness it brings to the images . Having that variety of light in your gallery is something I love so much! It gives such a different feel to your photos & breaks up your timeline in the best way

Cannot believe how fast this Fall went by! Looking back at my calendar I’m like With buying my first house, moving, starting Reno’s & having 10 weddings & 22 sessions all within two months was a lot for me to take on! But overal I’m extremely grateful I was able to get these months of work & for alllll my amazing clients . I’m only really starting now to get the house organized & want to share more on what is going on! It’s going to be a slow process as it can only be worked on a few hours a day or week but big changes are happening & I’m excited to share them . It’s a snowy one today! Has me so looking forward to all the winter engagement shoots Will be capturing another surprise proposal this week & crossing my fingers the snow is here for it If you’re thinking to get some clean, white, crisp backdrops that go so nicely on the walls I highly recommend this time of year!

Hard to believe this weekend is my first one off since August! I ended the season on such a high note last weekend at @theknoxvenue ! Spent the day in the cutest town, with the best couple & people, at such an amazing venue AND look at how stunning Melissa was on her wedding day still not over her dress & full look! . Even though I was only able to capture half my weddings this year, I am so grateful for all the celebrations I was able to be a part of! Looking forward to mentally taking a break, house renos & getting ready for an incredible 2021 season

Loving all the Fall sessions this year

Last weekend I got to photograph two very special days! One of them being Courtney & Josh’s Wedding. They did such an amazing job with having the ceremony set up in their backyard, with most of their closest family & friends who witnessed their vows to one another. That followed with a social distance champagne toast, pictures in the park & the sweetest first dances on their back deck. Fall weddings are in full swing over here & I’m loving every second of it!

A little life update - Life is good! Oliver & I have been settling into our new home for the last week and a half. Going to be starting renos next week & I CAN’T WAIT This has probably been the busiest month I’ve ever had! Shooting almost every night, 1-2 weddings a weekend until November & I honestly couldn’t be happier. This season started off rough & is ending so much better than I could have ever imagined. Even though wedding season is about 2 months this year it’s been INCREDIBLE & I cannot wait to share alllll these beautiful couples & their stories soon!

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE We have been talking about this moment for years now & we cannot believe it’s here! Yesterday we officially closed and became homeowners! {Still doesn’t feel real} It has been such a crazy, challenging last few months & feels so nice to be in our own place together. We are so excited to make this house into our home. With Oliver being a carpenter, I know he’s looking forward to starting 1 out of the many projects we (I) have in mind! Feeling so many emotions right now & so thankful for all the support & help moving this last week

Isn’t Natasha just the most beautiful bride!? I’m still obsessing with her dress We had a similar day like today but the sun came out as soon as we started portraits & it was beautiful! I cannot wait to share her & her husband’s story! It starts off something like traveling to Iceland as strangers (barley knowing one another) & the rest is history... I have MISSED walking into bride prep! Especially when you have the kindest, funniest group of girls to hang out with all day! - idk how I get so lucky The room is filled with your besties, your popping champagne, making mimosas & there is just so much love & excitementCapturing the bride with her girls is definitely one of my favourite parts of a wedding day! This week is spent obvi packing - it’s never ending but also so many fun sessions! From a branding session, engagements, a suprise proposal that I will be hiding at & family sessions where I get to now meet their newest little member! Capturing all the big milestones in my couples lives is such an honour. I always get so excited for what I will be documenting next These moments that turn into memories are so much fun to look back on!

I can’t believe September is FINALLY here! I have been looking forward to this month since April! There are so many exciting things happening. With 6 weddings, 13 sessions & moving into a house it’s going to be a busy next 4 weeks Oliver & I purchased our first home together & we couldn’t be more excited! We move in exactly 12 days It hasn’t been easy these last few months apart & we are so happy to finally start this new chapter together!

Heading out this evening to celebrate two very important bday’s Don’t usually get hair & makeup done & dressed up for Mondays but today I sure am! Haven’t seen this group of girls together since last year so cannot wait for a night filled with catching up, love & laughs! Happy Monday Friends!

Been spending the day going over timelines! They are so important for your day for so many reasons & I love making sure they are perfect I’m currently looking at 4 on my desk!! Disconnecting for the weekend! Going camping {wish me luck}, probably won’t have any service {YAY} & badly need time away from the screen {}. So much news, social media, changes, challenges, personal life, ups & downs and so much more in these last months. It’s been a lot to process! To continue to adapt to our new normal & process what the heck is going on, with so much unknown. I need to take a break. A full real break. So camping with friends, my bf & no screen time i...s something I’m so looking forward to! I know I’m not alone with these feelings & struggles right now. If you are too try to challenge yourself to shut off your phone for the day or a weekend if you can. Taking a break from your phone might be just what you need. Has anyone started new routines? Like routines you would never have thought about doing... I had to change up my routines to keep me sane but am curious if anyone else has too! I’ve been doing kickboxing online every morning with friends {or else I probably would skip a lot}, running {stillll hate it but happy when I finish} & FaceTimes with my grandma who lives in Wales on Monday’s! Alex & Sophie's Wedding Day <3

This time last year I was in Arizona!! Seems like forever ago right now. One day my Granny said she wanted to see the Grand Canyon as it was on her bucket list. So my mom, aunt, Granny & I headed off for a girl’s trip.So grateful I took this time off more than ever now. It was pretty incredible! Even at 93 years old you can still fulfil your dreams. She had another destination for this year but for now we’ve postponed it Tell me what’s on your bucket list? I wanna hear... what you’ve been DREAMING about doing! Wow, does it ever feel good being back to shooting! During lockdown the amount of courses and podcasts I listened to/watched had me dying to get behind the camera!! With so many sessions these last few weeks I just wanted to say a quick thank you! Thank you for allowing me to capture your special milestones & for coming out to have some fun during these crazy times. It has felt SO good to be allowed to use months of learning & education. It has truly been just what I needed! Cannot wait to create some more magic today!

Only 4 short weeks until I’m back shooting bride prep! I miss walking into a room filled with happiness, nerves & so much excitement! There’s a lot of creativity that goes into bride prep photos. I usually immediately look around to see where the dress will go, details will be set up & everyone will stand for popping the champagne Stay tuned because we have lots of weddings going ahead this year & cannot wait to share their stories!
