Yesterday’s new restrictions were disappointing news to this small business that relies on events. But it’s worth it to keep people safe and alive I also rather have the lockdown now in the hopes that I can see my family for Christmas! As you can imagine, the in person workshops have changed to online, and I’ll continue to sell wreath kits so that people can create safely at home. An email is coming this morning to all who signed up for wreath workshops on what this all looks like! I know many of us are feeling the weight of all of this during these difficult times. Laurel and her bridesmaids this October wedding featured some of the best fall flowers. Most were grown by @riverandseaflowers - and my fav were those orange ranunculus usually a spring flower, Rachel did a late planting and I’m so glad she did.

It is a dark and rainy day here in Vancouver. I’ve lit a bunch of candles and plan on doing some baking, cleaning and reading to match the weather’s mood. Also responding to all the wonderful registrations that came in for he Vancouver wreath workshops last night It’s also Election Day in the USA. While I may be over here in Canada, I think I speak for many people around the world when I say we’re all watching closely - more then ever before. If you’re American, exercise your right to vote today. Let it never be something any of us take for granted
