This incredible @gaetzphoto took this image over a year ago. I had started recording album number two and was getting new promo shots done while I was still in Ontario, and near my favourite photographer, so I would be ahead of the game. I had a plan. Then COVID happened. Being creative during this time felt impossible for me. I was growing a life and then birthing said life and then keeping said life alive, everything was canceled, money was lost, family/help was cut off an...d then reintroduced and then cut off again. Staying calm and relatively sane became my only goal and it started to feel like this album was a nice thought that would never be finished. I needed a push. Motherhood is incredibly fulfilling but, personally, it isn’t everything I need. I’m really proud of this collection of songs and now thanks to the help of @factorcanada , I’m re-inspired to share them with all of you. Stay tuned.
