Today I thought of the age old adage 'Be careful what you wish for'. So many times I have been exhausted from working a 70 hour week. I have wished for a little break and some relaxation. Never did I think though that it would be forced upon me. In the 13 years I have been in business the longest I have been closed is 10 days for a holiday. Even then I couldn't settle myself until I was back at my desk. So it is with a very heavy heart that I am having to close today for the... foreseeable future. I have spent my day messaging my clients. I have cried and laughed at their responses. I can't even to begin to tell you how wonderful everyone has been. No thought for themselves. Just for me and my well being. It has mended my very broken heart to feel the love from you all. It is impossible for me to stay open as I run my business from home and I am in close proximity to my clients. Their well being and that of their families is more important to me than anything else. I shall be working away on all the current orders and waiting patiently for you all to collect. I will be giving away free hugs with every order collected. I have plenty of work to keep me out of mischief and I will now be able to indulge in a few more Coco cuddles during the day. Not too sure she will be happy about this!! I will be putting my time to good use making new designs and organising a website to allow for distance selling. It is something I have been wanting to do for the last few years but work commitments have prevented this. So I am viewing this break in my business as an opportunity for change and growth. Thank you to each and everyone of my clients, past, present and future. You have no idea how much you all mean to me. You make my job a joy to do everyday and I am so excited to see what 2021 will bring for us all. So please stay very safe and be good to each other. I can't contain my excitement at the launch of Shauna's new website. Not only is she extremely talented but she is one of the most down to earth, fabulous chicks you will ever meet. This headband is the start of a new collection which I will be selling at my Christmas open day (details to follow). It is made with original vintage 1970's brooches, gold leaves and various shades of berry and rose Swarovski crystals. Each one of the bands will be unique and can not be repeated. I will also be introducing a hire range for 2020. Included in the hire range will be some bridal headpieces, jewelled crowns and headbands. I am very excited to show you the pieces I have been making. Xox

My absolutely beautiful bride Abbie sent me these pictures tonight. I have to confess I felt very emotional when I saw them. From the minute Abbie and I met we ...just clicked. She trusted me totally with her bespoke designs and we had so much fun at every appointment especially with her fabulous Mum. I loved everything about Abbie's dress and the pieces I designed. Crystal bridal belt and hairpiece made for one of my beautiful brides. Every single bead was lovingly hand stitched on an embroidery ring. The finished product ...was sewn to the bride's dress to prevent the belt fro. Moving throughout the day. The result was breathtaking. I loved this little cocktail fascinator. It was a bespoke design for a very special Mother of the Bride. She looked fabulous on the big day. You don't always need a huge hatinator to make a statement at a wedding xox

Sometimes you just meet a client and you know you have met a fellow sparkle buddy. Caoimhe was a pleasure to design for. At every appointment her excitement mad...e me smile. To say she looked beautiful on her wedding day is an understatement. She chose a bespoke design finished with Swarovski crystals and pearls. We used honey crystals to add warmth to the headpiece and match the crystals on her dress. I loved everything about Caoimhe's wedding and I was delighted she chose me to design her headpiece. Good evening everyone. I thought it was about time that I let you all know I am still in the land of the living. My last work post was February 2019 so this is long overdue! It was another very busy wedding season so I had to buckle down and get the orders done. In between the orders I have been making lots of new bridal designs. I also have some fabulous costume jewellery pieces too. Keep an eye on my page over the next few weeks for some pictures. I am very excited for what 2020 will bring. Love to you all xox

So many women are affected by cancer in Northern Ireland and I know many of my clients who would love access to this service. Well done to everyone involved.

Just a little heads up regarding appointments and messages. Unfortunately for the past two weeks I have not been well. A frozen neck and shoulder to contend with. I just got over that and since Saturday have had a very bad dose of flu (which I have now passed to poor Stuart). Anyone still waiting on a reply I will get back to you by Monday of next week. I sincerely appreciate everyone's understanding. Hopefully 2019 will be illness free for the rest of the year!!! Xox
