In response to the announcement today by Premier Ford, we wish to reassure you that RMTs are Regulated Health Professionals and so will remain open during the new stay at home order. We have well-established screening and disinfection protocols in place and so we will continue to provide care safely. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out.

The holiday season may be a little different this year, but we are focusing on all that we are grateful for. As RMTs, we work in service of others and we are very grateful to be able to continue to do so. We wish all of our friends and clients good health and much happiness.

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing fathers and father figures, who've had to work a little harder at keeping it all together this year.

We had a great first week open! It was wonderful to see colleagues and clients again, and to be of service once more. We are so grateful to all of our supporters.

Why do both clients and therapists need to be masked during treatment? It is impossible to maintain a 2m physical distance during a massage therapy treatment, particularly when performing work on the neck and shoulders. As you can see by the image below, the risk of transmission drops significantly when both parties wear a mask. As Regulated Health Professionals, it's a big part of our job to keep our clients safe - and ourselves!

Our safety and cleaning measures are all in place. The clinics may look a little different, but you will still be received with warmth and care.

We have been given the green light to reopen! We have been cleaning the clinics top to bottom, purchasing PPE and applying all the protective measures required by our Colleges and then some! We want to make sure that both you and your therapist are safe on our return. A few of the new procedures in place: . You will receive a survey 48hrs before your appointment and you will be screened at the appointment for COVID symptoms... . You must wear a mask in the clinic, as will we. . We will have hand sanitizer right inside the door. We are phasing in our opening to accommodate clients most in need and those who were canceled first. We will be opening our online booking June 7 and will be open as of June 8. Not all therapists will have their full schedules available online, so please add yourself to the waitlist and they will reach out to you directly. The Ministry of Health has lifted the directive that closed clinics in March, giving us the green light to gradually restart practice. We are currently working through the MoH guidelines and waiting on more information from the CMTO, sourcing PPE and organizing our schedules. There will be a few changes - therapists will be wearing a mask and we will be encouraging patients to wear a mask as well, setting up hand sanitizing stations, limiting the number of people in the waiti...ng area, and we'll be pre-screening for COVID symptoms before appointments. More updates to come in the next little while. We will let you know as soon as our schedule is back online. See you soon!

The MoH is in the process of updating operational guidelines and hospitals, out-patient and primary care will be implicated first. In the meantime, we are busy keeping up-to-date with procedures and readying the clinics for when our time comes. Operations will be a little different than what we're used to, but our dedication is stronger than ever. We will be informing clients when we know more, and really look forward to rolling up our sleeves, washing our hands (as always!) and being of service again. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Earth day is a day for all of us to remember the environment in our busy lives. A day that reminds us to continue to do the little things that help our environment. Things like turning off the lights, the conservation of energy, plant trees, recycle, reduce, and reuse.
