Since graduating with a MA I've been revisiting my love of painting.. And realising that with a more critical - and hopefully informed eye- I have so much to learn. Its a bit of a journey.. Despair.. Patience.. Perseverance.. Despair again.. But I'm determined to discover a new way of expressing myself through paint.

Studying currently for an MA in Fine Art in Hereford, busy busy on a one year course, packing it in! My subject is 'The Void'....a very wide and indefinable subject but providing me with lots of inspiration and sleepless nights.. I'm currently very intrigued by the late Agnes Martin and am exploring her technique of incorporating grids in my work, focusing attention on the surface and texture and by imparting a uniformity, creating a sense of order and calmness..I hope!!
