It has been an adjustment spending so much time at home. I am sooo grateful that I am able to work from home, but still adjusting to the homeschooling though So this morning after my workout I decided I was "going to work" which meant showering, washing hair, make up and work appropriate clothing (NOT workout leggings, sports bra and smelly sweatshirt) LOL. I made a full breakfast, and then walked 20 feet and "went to work". Earlier, while I got dressed, one of my co-worke...rs observed from his comfortable position in the sink. Later, when I went to grab my morning coffee I noticed another co-worker "zoned out" and he was only wearing underwear under his blanket When I went to finally settle in at my workstation my final colleague had taken up position on my chair. I thought we could possibly make it work, but when she started trying to push me off the chair... I had it I need to file a complaint with HR because the professional bar is too low in this work environment..... During this period of #selfisolation and #socialdistancing2020 many of us parents are trying to work and homeschool our children. Mine is 9yrs and I forget that even though he's 9.... he's not use to being self lead. I need to remind myself to be patient with him and myself while we "groove". Happy 2020 Like many people, I'm glad to leave 2019 behind and bring in an AMAZING new decade. One new skill I taught myself was crochet. It has been a couple months and I've had fun learning new patterns, and looking forward to trying more. I've even sold a few. Keep your eyes open for new projects. Who loves a little bit of Canadiana? The red&white, the maple syrup, Canadian Moose or even the Beaver?! Today would have been my sister's 50th birthday, so she's been on my mind.
