COVID 19 Update. Following today’s announcement I wanted to reassure clients that, as Regulated Health Professionals, Massage Therapists are permitted to remain open during the lockdown that will begin on Dec 26th. Covid-19 Update The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) has given approval to gradually return to work after yesterday’s announcement from the Ministry of Health. This is very exciting news! However, there are a lot of new protocols and procedures that will need to be implemented before I will be able to start treating clients. I will notify you with a start date as soon as I know when I will be up and running! I look forward to seeing you in the near future. :)

As some of you have already heard, it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that I will be temporarily closing until April 5th when I will reassess the situation. The College of Massage Therapists (CMTO) has issued a statement requesting that all RMTs suspend services due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This has not been an easy decision but I need to trust that the College has our (the public and professionals) best interests in mind. Once I reopen I will do my best to ...accommodate any clients that were affected in a timely manner. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation. COVID-19 information for clients With growing concerns regarding the COVID-19 (corona virus). I wanted to provide some information to help clients stay informed about my precautionary procedures. It is standard practice for me to wash my hands thoroughly immediately before and after each treatment. The linens are washed in hot water. I clean and disinfect the following between each appointment; tables, headrest, armrest, pregnancy pillow, stools, doorknobs, lotion bottles ...and anything else that may come in contact with clients. I kindly ask that if you are showing any flu like symptoms that you reschedule your appointment for when you're feeling well. As recommended by the CMTO, if you have travelled outside of Canada within 14 days I ask that you reschedule for a later date. COVID-19 Update With the rising number of cases within our region and across the country I will be making some changes to my COVID screening questionnaire. I kindly ask that any clients who have traveled outside of Northwestern Ontario make sure they have been back in the region for the 14 days prior to thier appointment. If you cannot ensure this I ask that you reschedule your appointment to a later date. Thanks for your understanding.

As of Jan 1st 2021, there will be a slight increase to treatment fees. This will be my first increase in close to 10 years and will help with the rising cost of supplies and expenses.
