Those quiet moments - they seem so few and far between these days.

We got through one game of conventional Jenga, and then his creative wheels started turning. Pictured here, the blocks are in mid-topple after he managed to get them on the loader. Had it not been for our stay at home existence, this game of Jenga would still be on the game shelf in the basement collecting dust, as we rush from one commitment to another. Things to think about. Kindness is Magic Hug them a little tighter, read just one more book, stay up a little later cuddling on the couch, let them help you with a chore even when it slows you down, eat popcorn before dinner, fold the laundry again when they toss it all over the living room, make chocolate cupcakes three days in a row, get on their level and acknowledge their big feelings when you remind them the park is closed, let them pour too much bubble bath in the tub, and let them draw ...all over the shower tiles with bath crayons because we are grateful to be healthy and safe. Stay home. Protect your family and so many others. Leave when essential and follow physical distancing rules.
