It is with great regret that, after exhausting all avenues, we have had to cancel all hope of hosting a Fall BST 2021, due mainly to the increasing Delta Covid infections; plus the many restrictions of numbers allowed and health rules on attendees and volunteers, and the responsibility of the safety of all involved. We are still hoping to host the Spring BST and hope all do their part to stop this virus from spreading more each day so that we can look forward to hosting this event again in safety for all. Please check this page for updates for the Spring sale date and location. Please stay safe everyone and hopefully see you in the spring.

We are hoping to be able to host the Fall Buy, Sell, Trade Day at Mount Forest Fairgrounds on October 3rd 2021. We ask everyone seeing this post to please be aware that changes may occur due to things not under our control. As things become finalized, or not, we will give updates. Keeping our hopes up as we are sure everyone else is in these difficult times.

We are sorry to announce there will not be a spring BST Day in April. We hope the situation will be much improved by the fall. Please stay safe everyone.

For this reason our HFF Executive felt obligated to cancel our Fall BST Day which was to be held on Sept. 27th, at Burls Creek Event Grounds. If there is any kind of a limit of people attending an event at that time it would be very difficult to tell someone who traveled for a couple of hours with a truck load of fur and feathers, We are sorry but we have already reached our maximum number of people. It is with regret we have to announce the Buy, Sell, Trade Day for October 4th will not be held. This decision was not taken lightly. It takes many hours of volunteer work to plan the sale, with permits, insurance, advertising and much more. Because of the uncertainty of not knowing what the situation with Covid will be in the coming weeks it would be impossible to organize the sale without the above being in place first. This is sadly not going to happen. Presently ...only 100 people can gather in one place and as anyone knows, who attends the sale, we have hundreds come from many different provinces of Canada, not just locally. We now hope that by the time the Buy, Sell Trade spring sale time arrives that we can host it will full confidence of safety of all parties involved. Any updates will be posted on our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing you in the Spring, the date to be confirmed.
