The Board of Directors of All-Together and staff wish you all a very Merry Christmas and much Joy, Peace and Good Health in the New Year 2021. It has been a remarkable year, probably the understatement of 2020, yet we are proud to announce significant progress on a number of our current projects. 1. We have started construction at our 32 unit build at Great St. James and expect to have our building permit for our 15 unit build for low-income seniors in Marmora and Lake in Jan...uary 2021 2. As lead agency for the Quinte Community and Housing First Partnership we have secured funding for the position of Partnership Co-ordinator through to March 31 2022, thanks to funding from the United Way-HPE, Catherine Donnelly Foundation and the federal government's Reaching Home program. AND 3. We have been approved for two recent applications to United Way-HPE, one for the purchase of important sanitation products, masks and dispensers and another for building organizational capacity. Affordable Rental Housing A key action item stemming from the 2019 Housing Summit was the creation of affordable rental housing. The City has created a new Comm...unity Improvement Plan (CIP) which updates and combines the existing Brownfield and Downtown CIP's and adds a new CIP for Affordable Rental Housing. On Monday, the draft Community Improvement Plan (CIP) was reviewed and approved by the Planning Advisory Committee. It now goes to Council on Monday, Dec. 14th for final approval.
