Some random wildlife captures from the Roberts Creek Estuary today!

Upper Hudson Caves - Same location only down some rickety old wooden stairs. While the water is low you can enter the caves. Deep in the Hudson River Gorge, cr...ystal clear emerald water, amazing rock formations and yet another world of wonder. A good place to experiment with some HDR Photography.

Lower Hudson Caves - Well worth a visit. Located off the Zeballos Logging Rd just South of Port Mcneill. A bit of a scramble down a steep bank with the aid of a rope you enter an awesome world of wonder. The River Runs Through It!

I managed to get a few shots of our resident Barred Owl hunting this morning. So graceful and silent.

Finally back on the Coast from my recent travels and found a variety of new baby birds around the farm. A real treat after a couple of smoky weeks away from home.

Some random wildlife shots and a few from a quick and smokey visit to Grasslands National Park along the way. Would have been nice to spend more time there in clearer weather but........next time with more time to explore.
