1990 32’Class A Winnebago. No start, no run, brakes stuck on. Park brake on this unit is a driveshaft drum lock. Trans wouldn’t shift so brake system would not release. Cut a rusted connection to release the brake to diag trans... ended up trans internal shift lever was bent 1/4 abd had jumped past the park location causing shift lock and no way to release it. Serviced trans, and repaired internal connection, new filters and oil. Changed fuel pump, new starter solonoid,... repaired lots of wiring. Scrubbed exterior and roof, new skylight, new lap sealant on front and rear of roof connections to body. Repaired rear air ride system. Full aluminum roof, will be re-sealed with white membrane. Few more little repairs and interior touch ups some exterior painting then this unit will be for sale. Hydraulic leveling system. New fridge, stove never used, has original awnings and exterior weather covers. 89,000km built in generator. Everything is in excellent condition. See more

Well... the ford 4.6 gas in a 2002 f150.... not a fun engine to change. What a pain, if anybody attempts this one save yourself a ton of kissing around and lift the cab a good 18 1/2 the engine is under the firewall, it comes out by bending a motor mount but will only go in after lots of fighting, dropping the tranny, removing the mounts off engine and loose mounting to frame, then fighting for hours getting the 6 mount bolts lined up to the block.. with everything in the way... not a fun one. So frustrating I barely took any pictures.

Cummings on the go... Hopfully finish your today. Diag, test fuel pressure at lift pump and at injection pump. Pull valve cover to see what’s up.. bent rods, pulled head sent in for full rebuild and going back together now.

I have heard so many times...it’s got a built bulletproofed 6.0 diesel well fellas most of the time it’s completely lies. For it to be built it’s gotta come out, be completely disassembled, block and heads taken to a machine shop to be cleaned tested and machined, bored if needed. Then you start assembly again with fresh parts and everything that was being used again (hoses, some hardware, covers, etc) get cleaned, blasted and painted.
