Looks like some older material from my French language record, Tanger, is about to released on 7 inch vinyl in Japan! There’s a whole new generation enjoying it. Love it!

Excited to finally be able to announce our new CD, Like A River, will drop January 1, 2017! Will be posting some advanced peaks at the music.

Our new music is in production with Jeremy Daw at the helm. Really looking forward to being able to share with you in early 2016:)

Working on the demos for the next allbut6ix offering. Been writing some great songs that I am excited that you will hear soon! It's been a very creative summer. Talk soon!

Really grateful for this super review by Rob Donaldson in Scene Magazine allbut6ix Like A River Based in Kingston, Ontario, allbut6ix take the... musical ideas of band mastermind and Montreal native Dwight Druick and make them a sonic reality. There’s plenty of style going on here as they capture the feel of classic 70s-era Marvin Gaye and the slow-burning funk that bands like The Crusaders and Average White Band excelled in. That’s not to say there’s even a whiff of the retro here, these folks simply have a natural feel for this sort of thing and render it competently and unselfconsciously on every track. The listener is taken back not so much to a sound from times past but instead a sensibility and emotionalism that’s straightforward and unencumbered by the unfortunate trend towards cynicism and irony weighing things down these days.
