Everyone meet Erin! Allegra’s irreplaceable Registered Dental Hygienist. This week was Ontario Dental Hygiene Week, and we wanted to show our appreciation for Erin and all that she does for our patients. RDHs do so much more than clean teeth. They screen for oral cancer, advise on smoking cessation & nutrition, develop custom homecare programs and make referrals to other health providers when necessary. Not only does Erin support the best oral health possible for her patients, but she always has them all leaving with a smile on their face. Thank you for all that you do Erin! #OntarioDentalHygieneWeek
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our amazing patients! We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Have an amazing weekend everyone.

COVID19 UPDATE: Dr. Kumar and the rest of the team at Allegra Dental wanted to start off by saying thank you for your patience and understanding during the uncertain times of this pandemic. We are pleased to be able to share some updates with you all. ---... We are now offering full service dentistry Monday-Thursday with extended hours! With all of our new safety protocols in full effect, we look forward to seeing you all soon. Call us today to book any appointments (613) 225-5707 :) --- This is what we are doing to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all of our patients: All patients and staff are screened before entering the facility for an appointment or shift. We are following the social distancing protocols and making the schedule accordingly. Immune compromised patients will be scheduled as the first appointment of the day. There are plexiglass barriers installed at the front desk. We are doing the best we can to have contactless interactions. All patients and staff must use hand sanitizer upon entry and exit of the clinic. Staff will also be washing or disinfecting hands thoroughly after contact with contaminated surfaces or equipment, in between procedures, and after removing personal protective equipment (PPE). All patients and staff must wear masks while in the clinic at all times (except during procedure for the patient) Patients must do a 1% peroxide rinse prior to treatment. All team members will be fully equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. The whole clinic (waiting room, bathroom, and other common facilities) will be disinfected before the entry of each new patient.
