Allen-Detweiler Nursery School is hiring a part time RECE for the Toddler Program, to begin September 2016 at our new location within Rideaucrest Home! The ideal candidate is warm, loving, fun, and respectful of children's unique personalities and abilities. Our RECE must communicate effectively with children, parents and co-workers. Our RECE is expected to have fun at work and participate in play at the children's level. We are looking for someone who is affectionate and ne...ver tires of snuggles! Familiarity with 'How Does Learning Happen', Ontario's Pedagogy for Childcare and Emergent Curriculum, as well as Intergenerational Programming is an asset. The successful candidate will be in good standing with the College of ECE, have a clear CPIC/VSC, and current Standard First Aid and Infant/Child Level C CPR training.
