Having to deal with nagging back pain at the same time... trying to be more active with the kids while they are home, but your bo...dy is just saying 'NO' .... working from your makeshift 'home office' while your neck pain is getting worse each day...not being able to go to the gym to continue the progress you've been making to avoid that surgery Coronavirus doesn't make aches and pains go away. For many, the new lifestyle that's forced upon us is making the pain worse! While everyday there are reports of more businesses closing or reducing hours, we realize that pain goes on. People still need help managing and getting rid of their pain, so that when this is all over they are better and stronger than before. When this is over, they can enjoy the beautiful spring weather and the amenities that come with warmer weather . We are here for you! We are not reducing our hours or closing our doors. Hey Premier Spine and Sport Family! Just a quick update... 1. We’re not closing - we’ve got too many people that rely on us!! 2. We’re quite possibly the sque...akiest, cleanest place in all of York Region 3. Our clients NEED us - and we’re not about to let you down Some of the conversations with clients this past week went along the lines of I make so much progress here week after week, I don’t know what I’m going to do if I can’t come in 4. WE GOT YOU We’re actually all hands on deck and are opening up EXTRA spots for the next 3 weeks (including early mornings!) for people who need to get in. Many of you are stuck at home right now because of work, travel, or school cancellations now is the PERFECT time to give your body some extra care and love and get those extra sessions in because you can! Call us and book your sessions before they’re all gone 5. Back pain and Sciatica still go on with or without the coronavirus. For many of our clients - having to suffer at home with horrible back, neck, knee, or hip pain is an even worse situation for you so we’re making every possible effort to stay open, be super-clean, and help you feel confident that we are a safe place to retreat to away from all the chaos outside 6. Increased stress compromises your immune system - and puts you at a greater risk to get any kind of illness - not just the coronavirus If you’re feeling ill stay home. But heck - if you feel normal - and you’re leaving your house each day to go about regular errands anyway - then TAKE ADVANTAGE of this forced time at home and away from normal obligations to come in!! I hear from so many of you that you just don’t have time to take care of yourself - to take care of that back or neck pain that’s been nagging you for years well DO IT NOW - and make the best out of this scenario!! Dancers are beautiful, graceful, and strong. But back pain does not discriminate. A study just published this month in the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Phys...ical Therapy reviewed studies looking at back pain and dancers and found that they (just like the rest of us) have up to an % chance of back pain in their lifetime.
