Alliance Veterans PTSD Retreat is a 100% Canadian registered non profit corporation that offers Veteran and First Responder PTSD programming. The unique experience has been operating since 2015 and is hosted on the island of Tablas Romblon Philippines in conjunction with Cummings Highlands Eco Resort and Katahimikan Yoga. The wellness program is a 2 week mentor based program with experienced veterans offering a multi layered approach to assist in recovery though workshops, a...dventures, trauma informed yoga and meditation, nutrition, and team building. In February 2020, the ROTO 2 team embarked on an exciting two week wellness adventure that encompassed our core principals: Camaraderie. Communication. Trust. Respect. It was an incredible experience that brought together a team of men and women from a across Canada. The group shared in meditation, yoga, adventure, workshops, nutrition, and team building that brought the elements together for a safe and grounding experience. The Alliance Veterans Team; Wayne, Starr, Jani, and Deo would like to thank each and every one who participated in the program. You have touched us all with your fierce dedication to your continued recovery and willingness to go beyond the old, to re-discover your true self. Each one of you have left a bit of yourself with someone special you met on the island, with your genuine kindness and compassion. The community has embraced you, and you shall always have a place on Tablas should you ever wish to return. It has been 1 year since ROTO 2...Where has the time gone! The powerful experience and connections made with these amazing veterans is still felt today by the AVR Mentor Team. Although the world is at a temporary standstill, we at AVR continue to prepare for ROTO 3’s wellness programming. We will be ready when the world is ready! We are looking for a full time operations manager for our unique veterans brewery and pub in the Greater Victoria (Langford, BC) area. Must be have strong orga...nizational, leadership and time management skills, solid work ethic and be willing to help with sales and other tasks as well.
