We have had alot of interest lately from our patients regarding the ReBourke implant retained denture, so we created this quick video explaining the benefits! The ReBourke Concept Bar allows you to benefit from the advantages of both removable and fixed restorations! This double structure option is designed with a titanium bar, and a friction fit structure overtop that the prosthetic is created on. The friction between the two structures is what maintains both bars togethe...r without any possibility of movement. In order to secure everything together, two MK1 attachments are used in the posterior area, giving the patient the same feeling as a fixed restoration. The secondary bar is designed to have a soft contact with tissues in order to seal the prosthesis. I am always in awe of hearing the history of Allied Denture Clinic told by Larry, Bud or Don when they come in to visit. Often we hear stories of "back in the day" from patients who have had multiple sets of teeth made with Allied, who's children are now having teeth made at Allied. You'll never guess what happened... Truth be told, this happens more than you'd think! If you're a dog owner, you understand the special bond between a dog and it's owner. A dog has a keen sense of smell and is attracted to items that contain your "scent". Remember to keep your Dentures and Night-guards out of reach of your furry friends. We provide Denture Baths to all of our patients, let us know if you've lost it or it has become worn out and we can replace it. ... If your canine friend does happen to get ahold of your pearly whites, try to collect all the pieces you can find. This is important to see if they have swallowed any pieces. In some cases we can try to solve these Denture Puzzles, so give us a call!

Whose teeth are these? Loss of dentures and partials can happen easily in hospitals, care homes and other retirement facilities. Quite often it is due to a mix up of dentures among residents who have various conditions such as Alzheimers, eventually leading to seniors not wearing them and dentures ending up in the garbage bins or being discarded by other residents or staff. Name insertion is a very cost effective procedure which can prevent such mix ups as it can be easily recovered and traced to a particular home resident. This can be done in a same-day appointment and the patient does not need to attend.
