I used to use white strips, with all the accompanying sensitivity, but love this all natural toothpaste AND the taste. And these pearlies have never been pearlier. Y’all need to do yourselves a favour and get on this thieves whitening toothpaste train!! Not to mention how much I love my quip toothbrush, about 3 years running those refills just keep showing up and it’s the best!

Welcome, 2021. And Happy New Year!! Little did I know this box of oils would change so much. Hello emotional support, immune support, help me get to sleep support, with obvious benefits of our house always smelling top notch, being able to naturally support aches and pains and head tension, the list goes on, and I can’t stop talking about it. But what surprised me in 2020, was how much I fell in love with the business. Women empowering women, the investment of time in relati...onships and growth all around me, a community that helped me soar with new found confidence and joy. Like minded women wanting the best for their families, being willing to grow, and dream big for the future. One of the best decisions I’ve made, marrying my western medicine training with this alternative toxin free lifestyle. And then running towards personal growth and connection to put the cherry on top. Thankful thankful thankful.

H O M E M A D E V A N I L L A I was inspired to make my own vanilla extract back in the summertime, and had the best time shaking the glass bottle every week to help the vanilla goodness infuse into the vodka. This little jar smells H E A V E N L Y and it’s so fun when little DIYs work and deliver what you were hoping for Kudos to my mom who knows the best places to find the best little jars and thinks of the brilliant ideas of leaving a vanilla bean in there for prese...ntation. @esther_honey I gave this batch 6 months to percolate, and am really excited to step up my game, not only stretching that 6 months to 12, but sourcing better beans. Starting to listen to an audiobook this week called Extreme Ownership by a guy named Jocko. Have you heard of it before? Starting to see that despite life’s difficulties, we have a lot more control over what our day to day looks like than we think. We can wallow or fight for joy, be a victim or show up and take ownership for whatever happens. Let’s make the best of how things turn out this week! Even if it is 2020. #motivationmonday

R O U T I N E D E O D O R A N T An extra- sensitive deodorant that smells like ylang ylang, orange, cinnamon and talking on the phone after midnight. I could probably skip the midnight part, but this is my favourite go-to deodorant. You can refill your container from a bulk container at several spots in the city, and it’s made right here in Canada with essential oils and MAGNESIUM instead of baking soda and essential oils instead of icky natural flavors. And the best part? I T WORKS #notanad Also, you know you’re an adult when you are gifting and raving about deodorant .

I want to brag on this guy of mine, @lukewtcleland who for the last two years (and really way before that) has done everything he can to see me flourish and to call out any gifts he has seen in me. Leading up to my 30th birthday he delivered a handwritten letter every day for a month, as pictured here. And every 4 in the room swoons, right? We just celebrated two years of marriage and I just want to encourage you to marry a guy who gets to know what makes you tick and celeb...rates who you are and who you are becoming. Love you Luke son, and thanks for insisting on taking my photo no matter what I’m looking like that day You’ve made my business more beautiful than I could have imagined!

We read a prayer today at the breakfast table and it seemed to marry the phrase We rise by lifting others. I came across it awhile back and it continues to come to the surface of my mind time and time again. So for motivation Monday, a prayer: God of grace and truth, make me whole, a person of integrity who heals and makes peace. I pray for eyes that see what’s best in others,... a graceful and candid mouth, hands that never twist but hold up truth, a heart that aims to encourage, and feet that pursue my neighbor’s best.
