Revive Fitness Transformations 31.03.2021

Back to work this week, which means getting up early to get my workout in. Set my alarm for 5am and I’m not gonna lie, I did hit the snooze button once. Up at 5:15 which gave me time to have a coffee, get my morning workout in and still have time to eat breakfast and get ready. ... Want to workout early but have a hard time changing you wake up cycle? I feel your pain lol. Having to get up earlier will be difficult initially, but your body will adjust. Some research indicates that your body will require one day/hour of time change to fully adjust. For example, if you are used to getting up at 8am for work and now you are getting up at 5am to workout, the 3-hour time difference will require 3 days to feel normal, but you will need to go to bed earlier, between 9-10pm to get your required 7-8 hours of sleep/night. Which means that I should probably try to keep this up on my days off, so that I don’t have to keep adjusting

None of us are always motivated That’s where determination and dedication come in. And we always fell better after, right? I’ve heard lots of people tell me they wished they had gotten their workout in, but never once have I heard someone say that their workout did them no good and they wished they hadn’t done it. I had a long day today and I could literally collapse on the couch and do nothing else for the rest of the night.... But I’m going to take some of my awesome pre workout drink and get to it! It’s a healthy form of stress relief, and I’ll feel great knowing that I’ve kept this very important promise to myself to continue to be as healthy and strong as I can. How about you? See more
