RMT Spotlight .... Our RMT Allison has additional training in the treatment of TMJ disorders. This includes techniques to access muscles intra orally for a more... thorough and complete treatment. Massage Therapy for the treatment of TMJ disorders may relieve symptoms such as: -headaches -jaw and face pain -neck and shoulder pain -chewing difficulty or discomfort -reduced ability to open the mouth -clicking or popping sound If you grind your teeth at night, or find yourself clenching during the day, this can cause muscle tightness of the jaw. This tightness can lead to clicking and popping in the joint..and possibly joint damage. Many people feel relief after just one treatment. Give us a call to set up an appointment today! See more

Thanks to those who have donated their bodies for study and research, I recently had the opportunity to attend a cadaver lab. The focus of the lab was to study muscles and organs, and it was fascinating to see them up close in this way. RMT's, if you have the chance to attend one, I highly reccomend it. It was hosted by The Ontario School of Osteopathy.

I am now also treating residents of The Royal Henley Retirement Residence, and Anchor Pointe Retirement Residence. The residents there always have great stories to tell me. It doesn't seem like work at all! If you have a friend or relative living there that could benefit from massage therapy...let them know it is available on site. (Photos from initial meet and greet at each location)
