CLUB DAYS The Alliston Christian Reformed Church has several clubs that focus on different needs and populations. Starting next week each Thursday a new club will be highlighted. If you are interested in learning more or joining one of these clubs, please let us know and we will put you in contact with the person in charge of that particular club.... Today is the first ever NATIONAL DAY OF TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION This is a day of reflection, acknowledgement, and education. Many do not know that Alliston, ON is situated upon lands of the Petun, Ho-de-ne-sau-nee-ge (Haudenosaunee), Anishinabewaki, Mississauga, and Wendake-Nionwestsio Indigenous nations. To learn more about what this day means and how you can contribute or learn more about current and past Indigenous histories, here is a starting resource. There are also many Indigenous authored books.

THANKFUL TUESDAY Today we are thankful for the town we are situated in and the compassion of our community. With the local shelter opening this week, we are grateful that there are people in and out of our church able to help keep the program running. We are also incredibly thankful for all who give their time to volunteer in whatever capacity and program they do so. There's nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer ( Lt. Col.
