Great news! Our clinic will be reopening Monday June 15th. At this time, there are limited appointments available and we are prioritizing patients accordingly. BEFORE your appointment:... - You will be sent a pre-screening document that will need to be filled out prior to EACH appointment. *please note, our washroom will be unavailable for public use at this time WHEN you arrive: - Please remain outside and/or in your vehicle until your therapist indicates you can come into the clinic. - You will be required to sanitize your hands and will be screened upon entry to our clinic space BEHIND the scenes: - We will be following all the infectious control guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Health and the CMTO. DURING treatment: - Your therapist will be wearing a Mask - You will also be wearing a mask - if this is a concern for you for health reasons, please speak to your therapist prior to your appointment. AFTER your appointment: - Contactless payment is encouraged (etransfer or tap with some therapists) - You will be required to sanitize your hands upon leaving. We understand there are a lot of changes happening but we will find our routine once more and it will become easier each visit. We are very happy to be able to open our doors and are so very thankful to our clients. You have been patient and very supportive during this challenging time. Thank you!

This past week we have been ordering/securing our proper cleaning products, our PPE and our new signage for the clinic. We are patiently waiting for items to arrive so that we may safely and effectively open our doors to our patients. Your massage appointments will be conducted somewhat differently than what you are used to in the past. All therapists will be wearing surgical masks as per our guidelines and it is also a requirement that our patients wear a face covering whi...le in the clinic (including during treatment). Upon entering the clinic, you will be required to wash/sanitize your hands and undergo a quick screening process. This will be for every visit and we appreciate your patience as we streamline the process. Please note that our online booking system will be unavailable for the time being, so your individual therapist will be reaching out to you directly when the time comes to book an appointment. While change can sometimes be difficult, we are excited to see you all again in the coming weeks. Thank you for your continued patience and patronage. We love our community.

Today there was directive from the Province of Ontario and the CMTO to gradually begin providing healthcare services. This is a positive step towards our reopening! Please be advised that at this time, Alliston Massage Therapy Centre will remain closed until all the safeguards and recommendations can be put in place and until we can be confident that the risk to our therapists, clients and community is low. Good Afternoon, With the COVID-19 pandemic being a growing concern and following the recommendations of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, our clinic will be suspending most of our services. We will be contacting our patients that will be affected by this decision. This is not a decision that we take lightly. It is for the safety of our therapists, patients and our community.... "I am Brianne Macdonald, and I am excited to join the team at Alliston Massage Therapy Centre. I graduated with honours from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2018. I have always had a passion for health care and achieving a positive well-being. Before becoming an RMT, I studied Biological Scien...ce at The University of Guelph and graduated in 2014. I have an extensive background in biology, aiding me in the complex understanding of the human body. I have also worked in a Veterinary Clinic for ten years, where I have gained valuable knowledge and compassion for my clients (both fur and human friends). I grew up on a farm, and have ridden horses my whole life. I played polo with a Canadian Interscholastic team, where I learned the valuable insight of taking care of your body, maintaining your health and well-being. I look forward to meeting you, and helping you achieve better health and well-being, while working towards your goals."
