Happy International Pronouns Day! Your gender pronouns are valid and deserve to be respected Here are some easy ways you can be inclusive ... 1.) Edit your email signature and social media profiles to include your gender pronouns. 2.) When introducing yourself, make sure you include your gender pronouns. 3.) Asking for someone's pronouns may feel awkward, but we can normalize it by asking, "What pronouns do you use?" or "Can you remind me which pronouns you like for yourself?" 4.) Wear a pin with your pronouns to display on your jacket or bag. Mistaking or assuming someone's pronouns can be really invalidating. If you mess up, it's okay! Everyone slips up from time to time. The best thing to do if you use the wrong pronouns for someone is to say something right away, like Sorry, I meant (insert pronoun) Feel free to include your suggestions below!

Enjoying a nice weekend getaway before I enter into college again for the 4th year in a row! Don't get too excited, this isn't my last year either... This was a much needed pause.... We are tired of seeing anti choice protestors with ...harassing messages and graphic signs in our public spaces. We ask the City of London to implement the following: 1. An amendment to an existing by-law or a new by-law that would ban the delivery of flyers to homes that have a "no flyer" sign. (Calgary, Winnipeg and Ottawa already have these bylaws) 2. An amendment to an existing by-law that would state that the content of any signs, including temporary signs, must adhere to the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards. The city of Toronto is already working towards banning these images, which violate Section 14(c) and (d) of the Code. Hi all! Here's an update: I've really taken a big step back from my doula IG and I've been focusing on my home business. It's been keeping me so busy! Which is good news! So many amazing people are looking to support local and it helps my small business thrive. Between keeping busy with business, I was also swamped in school work as my 5 week in person placement turned into a 3 week online placement! Holy smokes it was a rough few weeks. BUT WE MADE IT! & I graduated f...rom Early Childhood Education in mid August!!! In between that I opened my holistic treatment room back up after being closed for 5 months!!! andddd I have had a handful of abortion support clients I've been in contact with, which has had me glued to my phone checking and responding to emails/texts/calls as often as I can!
