Although most hearths are made at the factory, some have to be fabricated on site. In the case of this palatial home some of what can be seen in the photos, due to design and having to fit the natural stone between already laid hardwood floor and already installed stone fireplace surround, the fit needed to be exact. Rather than ship the stone to our installers in Smithers BC, the owner specifically ask that we attend due to the complexity of the installation. My business partner, Stefano Mattarollo made the long trip to Terrace, BC. Stefano is one of few remaining in our Corporate Group that has the knowledge to make a perfect installation where site fabrication is required. Job was completed and what a fit, as can be seen below. Thanks Stefano for such a wonderful job.
