Powassan Loop & Farm Stand Tour This year due to COVID-19 our Almaguin Harvest Spin event, like many other events, had to change in order to keep participants and volunteers safe. We decided to postpone the first annual Almaguin Harvest Spin event to next year so you can enjoy all the beautiful routes and delicious foods with all your friends, family, and fellow riders without concern. While cyclists look forward to our event in Fall 2021, we wanted to host 3 separate self-...guided tours riders can enjoy to give them a taste of what is to come next year. Over the course of the Fall, check out some great routes that have been hand picked by our local Almaguin in Motion - AIM riders. Saturday, September 12th grab your bike and pick a self-guided tour through Powassan and surrounding area. Choose between 30km and 60km routes, where you can experience the fall colours and local foods. From the original vision of several Burks Falls artists to the large group of artists and craftspeople we have become today, this year the Burks Falls Art and... Crafts Club celebrates 70 YEARS of creativity, camaraderie and enrichment in Burks Falls and surrounding communities. This was to have been a season like no other at the Arts Centre but as the world ground to a halt, so did our plans for our celebratory season. But a group does not survive and thrive for 70 years without strength, teamwork, creativity and innovation and we are always looking for ways to find the silver lining in this storm. We look forward to a big celebration of this very special milestone in more certain days.
