Running short of clean egg cartons to use for our donation eggs to the food bank. Anyone have any they’d like to send to a new home? Please let me know or drop them off at the chicken barn if you’re in Tyrone. Thanks.

The fields of white beans including the one around the chicken barn are turning colour and will be ready to combine ( harvest) soon. Inside the pods are the white pea beans used for Pork ‘n Beans and so many other foods.

Just hand collected and packed 3600 eggs. Broken pin on one of the egg belts. Always happens on the weekend. Hopefully parts on Monday. Fresh eggs available daily from 7 am to 6 pm.

What an honour. All Canadian Champion Junior 2 year old 2020. Kozi is the great grand daughter of our 1st Excellent cow - Almet Skychief Kim. Kim is the great grand daughter of Werrcroft Triple Threat Kate that we purchased as a fresh 2 year old.

Eggs, eggs everywhere. Waiting for the egg truck. We ran out of dividers to be able to stack the eggs into 5 layers on the skid. There are 10,800 eggs on one skid. One hen lays almost an egg a day so we get about 25,000 eggs a day with most going to Burnbrae Farms in Mississauga and then to the stores. Stay warm and safe.

Next Monday, October 5 will be our first day of egg sales at our new chicken barn in Tyrone. Hours will be 7 am to 6 pm daily. Prices are $7. per flat or $3. per dozen. Honour system as before so please bring correct change. We’re beyond eggcited to be working in our brand spanking new barn. See you soon.
