Sharla was at it again a couple of weekends ago. This time making pillows. She quilts the tops of the pillows to batting. It gives them more body than a single layer of fabric or patchwork. For ideas on quilting, have a close work at what she did on these. The designs for these pillows is from a book that is no longer in print. However, she suggests Kaffe Fassett's Brilliant Little Patchwork Cushions and Pillows for more cushy inspiration. While this book is not in stock, please call us to order it for you. She wrote: "I know this probably isn’t the best way to display this beautiful fabric but it is perfect for what I wanted. I like to put monthly/seasonal table toppers on our round coffee table. Of course most patterns are from the US and their November is Thanksgiving. I have used this Patrick Lose pattern several times and made my own appliqué toppers using appropriate motifs, but this fabric just called my name.
