Goldilocks being a worm eating derp.
Just a couple of boop snoots trying to check each other out.
Hello! It’s been awhile since the page has been updated. The baby Axolotls are now 6 months old and measure 5 inches each. Both have darkened but we can still easily tell them apart (Tickles is lighter and has deep red gills and Goldilocks has beautiful golden green markings all over).... I recently added them to the large 55 gallon tank with Toothless. I used some plaskolite to make a divider to protect the juveniles from the adult. Once they are mature enough, the plan is to divide them based on sex (females on one side and males on the other). They have adjusted well and have lots of spaces to hide and explore in. The old 20 gallon tank is in the process of being turned into a planted shrimp tank.
Toothless is in her new tank! Oh hello! I think she is enjoying it.
It’s amazing how fast some aquarium plants grow once they start sprouting. I think the Axolotls will love hanging out on this ground cover.
I had to switch Toothless to the 10 gallon tank and put the two babies in the 20 gallon. Toothless loves hanging out in the broken terracotta pot that’s in the 10 gallon. I’ll likely move it into the 50 gallon when I move her again. I’ve also attached a picture of the ground coverage sprouting in the 50 gallon (this was last night) and I think I’ll be able to move Toothless in the next week.
