Re: Updating our menu We added new items, keeping our customers coming back for something new, not the boring same old menu all the time & of course a few items were raised in price. Grocery & operation costs aren’t going down! Yes, as a business we have to raise certain prices as we see fit to keep our business operational and staff paid. We will NOT hide the fact that prices go up, and people who want to call out a business for raising prices after a terrible year will not be tolerated. Thank you for all your support Smithers! As a stand alone business with a mortgage, hydro, natural gas, water fees, property tax and many other bills people don’t see running a business... We want to take the time to say THANK YOU to all our customers! It’s been a crazy few months since opening back up for dine in. Our staff has been doing their part to follow all guidelines set by WorkSafe BC, so we can continue to serve you safely. The newest health order now requires a step from everyone to follow. Masks are now mandatory in all buildings. Please enter our restaurant wearing your mask, sign in for contact tracing & then sanitize using our Smithers Brewing H...and Sanitizer. Once seated at your table, you are welcome to enjoy the dine in experience without your mask. Anytime away from your table, a mask must be worn. Christmas Events are going to look a little different this year! The Alpenhorn will not be hosting any large group events due to the current Covid Regulations. Times are not easy for the restaurant industry We are struggling with rules that change every day, staff feeling uncomfortable with the pandemic, being short staffed due to sick calls plus many other challenges.
