Yesterday was Cath’s 5th work-Anniversary. She is a fantastic massage therapist, working with a variety of clients with anything from sports injuries, aging or neurological disabilities. She also makes us laugh everyday. We love you Cath!

This is Richards obstacle course that he planned for one of his clients who is working on relearning her spatial environment. Obstacle courses can incorporate exercise, balance and distractions into your therapy sessions but this is a particularly fun one!

So...the golf league hasnt worked out yet this year. Between both us and Keystone, we have several challenges in making it happen. We are still hopeful that we may be able to figure out a few nights of golf later in the summer, but I have no dates at this time. Ill let you know in early July if this is a possibility.

We plan to call all of our clients at the beginning of the week to see if you need to return, but if you are a new client who needs physiotherapy, please call the clinic and leave your contact information and we will call you back as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns about how we will be keeping people safe while in the clinic, check out this link: https://www.activeli...ving.physio/p/changes-that-you-will-see We will continue to offer virtual appointments, if you would prefer to stay at home for your physiotherapy. Were looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Tracy is back and with her a yoga pose of the month Warrior 1 (Virabhadrasana 1) -From standing take a big step back with one leg, and let that leg and foot rotate open to a slight angle (about 45 degrees, or whatever is comfortable in your body).... -Square your hips forward -Bend your front knee, and make sure that your knee doesnt come past your ankle. If it does, take a wider stance. -Let your arms float up as high as is comfortable, with palms facing towards one another. -Let the heart lift and the shoulders relax down the back. Maybe lift the gaze slightly - Hold for 3- 10 long conscious breaths. Then repeat on the other side. Benefits: -Strengthens shoulders, arms, back, legs and ankles -Opens and stretches hips, chest, lungs, legs, ankles and arms -Improves balance, concentration, and energizes the whole body. Modifications: -You can face the back of a sturdy chair, or even a door frame, and let one hand or both rest on the back of the chair for extra support in balancing.
