This lovely 86 year old artist had an unfortunate attrition tendon rupture to her long, ring and little fingers, unable to open her hand to reach or grasp. Only... the index remained intact (EI). A dorsal forearm@based hinged splint was made to temporarily replace the function of the ruptured tendons. With this splint, she can sketch again and function until her upcoming surgery helps to restore function. Our team celebrated the summer solstice this passed June 21st at the Sea To Sky Gondola and we wish their team all the best in their plans to reopen . As a pass holder and local business owner, we are very saddened by this recent apparent sabotage. We will look forward to enjoying the sites soon.
