Knee's are supposed to hinge like a door. But when they are inflamed, hinging can cause more pain. Here are 3 exercises I tell my knee clients to AVOID whe...n they are building strength & getting healthy knees... 1. Deep Movement-based Squats 2. Alternating Lunges 3. Knee Extension Machine The body is designed to heal itself... yes.. INCLUDING knees. However, the key is to support them in the right way. The best way is to use isometric 'no-movement' exercises. They strengthen and stabilize the joint WITHOUT causing further irritation. They help reduce inflammation... which alleviates pain They help bring the knees back into alignment so you avoid further issues down the road. If you're ready to join hundreds of others that have found relief from knee pain, I encourage you to sign up for our 6-Week Feel Good Knees system. Each level includes easy, 5 minute daily exercise AND knee-realignment rituals. And yes, literally anyone can follow & benefit from them... no matter what your current fitness level or knee issue. My name is Coach Todd and I believe everyone has a right to live FREE from knee pain. Click below to take advantage of our special discount.

Hope from the Hopi: The Hopi have always had their fingers on the pulse of the planet. And they do now...check this out. Are you going through a portal or down a hole? Message from White Eagle, Hopi indigenous.... This moment humanity is going through can now be seen as a portal and as a hole. The decision to fall into the hole or go through the portal is up to you. If you repent of the problem and consume the news 24 hours a day, with little energy, nervous all the time, with pessimism, you will fall into the hole. But if you take this opportunity to look at yourself, rethink life and death, take care of yourself and others, you will cross the portal. Take care of your homes, take care of your body. Connect with your spiritual House. When you are taking care of yourselves, you are taking care of everything else. Do not lose the spiritual dimension of this crisis; have the eagle aspect from above and see the whole; see more broadly. There is a social demand in this crisis, but there is also a spiritual demand -- the two go hand in hand. Without the social dimension, we fall into fanaticism. But without the spiritual dimension, we fall into pessimism and lack of meaning. You were prepared to go through this crisis. Take your toolbox and use all the tools available to you. Learn about resistance of the indigenous and African peoples; we have always been, and continue to be, exterminated. But we still haven't stopped singing, dancing, lighting a fire, and having fun. Don't feel guilty about being happy during this difficult time. You do not help at all being sad and without energy. You help if good things emanate from the Universe now. It is through joy that one resists. Also, when the storm passes, each of you will be very important in the reconstruction of this new world. You need to be well and strong. And for that, there is no other way than to maintain a beautiful, happy, and bright vibration. This has nothing to do with alienation. This is a resistance strategy. In shamanism, there is a rite of passage called the quest for vision. You spend a few days alone in the forest, without water, without food, without protection. When you cross this portal, you get a new vision of the world, because you have faced your fears, your difficulties. This is what is asked of you: Allow yourself to take advantage of this time to perform your vision-seeking rituals. What world do you want to build for you? For now, this is what you can do -- serenity in the storm. Calm down, pray every day. Establish a routine to meet the sacred every day. Good things emanate; what you emanate now is the most important thing. And sing, dance, resist through art, joy, faith, and love." (Feel free to share by copy and paste, as I did)

As lock down starts to ease, you decide for you, I'll decide for me. None of us have the same circumstances (medically high risk child/ family member or a business about to go under, etc.) Let's all stay in our own lanes and keep the judgement down as we begin to unlock. No one should feel pressured either way. Just a thought... As all of us are trying to figure out how to ease back into normal, please remember: Some people don’t agree with the unlocking.... that’s ok. Be k...ind. Some people are still planning to stay home.... that’s ok. Be kind. Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening.... that’s ok. Be kind. Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes....that’s ok. Be kind. Some are thankful they can finally have the surgery they have had put off....that’s ok. Be kind. Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job....that’s ok. Be kind. Some will wear masks for weeks.... that’s ok. Be kind. Some people will rush out to get their hair or nails done.... that’s ok. Be kind. The point is, everyone has different viewpoints/feelings and that’s ok. Be kind. We each have a different story. If you need to stay home, stay home. But be kind. If you need to go out, just respect others when in public and be kind! Don’t judge fellow humans because you’re not in their story. We all are in different mental states than we were months ago. So remember, be kind. This is so important, Please share, or copy and paste.

The illusion of 'green' energy. A must watch film! Human vulnerability on a global scale. Less must be the new 'more'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk11vI-7czE

A beautiful depiction of the reactive limbic system and the responsive pre-frontal cortex. The reactivity loop initiated in the limbic emotional centre, how limbic reaction can temporarily highjack the cortex from calming response. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymPF0q7U5oM

To my dear clients, As of today, Friday, March 20th I will be closing my business indefinately. Although this has been the most difficult decision for me to make as a small business owner, I sincerely believe it is an ethical (and moral) decision in light of the rapidly changing times we are living in.... Health and wellness are the core values of my business. I believe it is my responsibility and obligation to model these values at this time of uncertainty and change. Thank you so much for your support during my 21 years of practice. Even though this is not how I envisioned the closure of my business to be, it has allowed me to practice letting go of anticipated outcomes and to rest in the equanimity of what is. Please take very good care of yourselves, body, mind and spirit. Warmest regards, Elaine
