It’s the little things. Small details including these little hem prints and care labels can take your shirts from a blank with a print, to a fully finished product.

Goood morning! The press is full and the order queue is loaded up. Monday’s are good here at Alpine but i hear from lots of shops and workers that they hate Monday’s; i decided today to look up some quotes to keep the motivation high and share here to get the gears moving for everyone else: Perfection is unattainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence. The man who makes no mistakes usually does not make anything.... There are no big problems, just lots of little problems.

Three more designs for support local going on the press today. Leaving only a few left. 1. Hoodies have finally been ordered / are back in stock so if you ordered one with your order it’ll be out soon! 2. Pandemic essentials tees are ALL out. Except for the ones that are large since were waiting for a restock on those. Expect an email in a few weeks. Safe at home, if you ordered one of those and got an email your order is in the box / on the truck for delivery. This is all... going to be done and over with very soon - we printed lots of extras so those will get posted on the site if you missed anything and we’ll get em out. Thanks, enjoy your week!! For everyone that wants to see the new press + our new lights - checkout our new @ryonet 350. This press is a monster! With 16x24 platens, laser registration, and uses auto screens. After not being able to find a new shop space, but knowing I was going to purchase a ROQ auto - it made all the sense to upgrade our manual, and get the shop ready to go auto. The shop has a full set of auto platens transferrable to the new ROQ, all auto screens and racks, auto size dip tank ...and coaters. This small step of almost the exact same press Alpine already owned will make the next transition into an auto easier, along with all our printing this year and next more accurate, easier, and higher quality. After printing for years on a press that was usable but not perfect, the 350 is a mile better. Completely dialed and super easy to use. See more

New press has lasers for accuracy. I had these on my old press but they were always kind of finicky. They’d work some days or they’d be super fuzzy - it was difficult to get them right. With our new press calibrated properly, and adjusted to be the same height all around and perfectly level.. these work amazing. Now our prints are even more consistently placed, woo! Also: shouts out to @plantgoalsptbo for these shirts. Nailed it.

Goals are pretty important, when I started Alpine - I had one goal. To be the best shop i could be. I wanted the shop to have easy communication, quality prints and I wanted to be accessible to all businesses, small or big. The shop has constantly impressed even me with faster turnaround times, better prints, and managing the waste in the studio to make sure my clients are getting the best product they can for the best price they can. I know this seems like an advertisement..., the truth is though these are all the goals of the shop and watching them get completed, or on the way to getting completed is amazing. Here’s a super simple print, for a small shop with HUGE goals similar to ours. To fill a gap, solve a problem, and make people happy. Does your business have any goals you’re working towards? How are you staying motivated if you don’t? See more

Hey, Alpine has been open here for 3 years today! Happy birthday to us! I worked late last night getting some new stuff setup in the shop - moved over the washout and got 4 new lights for the production floor. New press shows up early next week, old one leaves Monday night to its new home. Just about ready for an even faster, safer, easier later half of busy season. ... Even 3 years later I can’t get enough of owning this place. I love working late, I love all the clients, I love everything about it - from building the studio to folding tees. It all comes together in such a nice package I can’t get enough of that. Thanks for your help building my shop, thanks for buying a tee or 1000 tees. Thanks for being client 1, or a future client. Thank you for 3 awesome years at 146 Wyndham. Let’s have a bunch more

Always been a fan of this corner in the shop. Nice mix of natual light, couple keep sakes including a poster from the Bmx team I’m apart of, and some of the first shop shirts. Represents our roots and also is where finalized garments end up. Nice mix of present and past, love that.

There is an entire box of these still that need to be picked up, if you ordered a red support local tee, a blue stronger together tee, a nurse tee, or a pandemic essentials tee and chose PICKUP then your tee is in this box! Blake Stevenson stuff is printed, and shipped and the pickups will be put in the box tomorrow. Plant house tees by Liam, and Camp Cabin Fever tees this week. Getting close to this stuff being finished! With 282 of you guys choosing pickup, there is tons more of these that need to be put in this box. So please check your emails & your text messages - come get em!

Been printing lots of stuff for @cleared.hot in our studio. Sam sent the shop a message asking if we were able to handle some big prints, and of course I sent back a large ‘yes’ and went out and bought some bigger screens. Sam creates his designs on procreate, and then here we vectorize them and make them bigger to fill out entire backs of his tees, and hoodies.... Using the dryers full length, and a super slow belt speed we cure them up and ship them out to a small town outside Quebec. This project requires extra steps to be perfect, and using constant improvement and even some juggling between garment suppliers during the pandemic, Canada post delays, we still got a few orders out of his out during this rough couple months. Thanks for the order, Sam. A pleasure to print for you and the team at Cleared Hot.

The shop is kinda getting back to normal now - such a good feeling. Thanks to everyone for sticking it out. Garments are coming on time, it’s easier to access inks and supplies, and our new press shows up in a week. Support local stuff still is being printed, there is 60+ orders sitting in our lobby waiting for pickup and they’ll be even more next week after we print the next design. ... So if you got an email or a text, come get it! If you selected pickup, it’s there! Here’s an order from @crafty_ramen - a local, awesome, authentic ramen house in Guelph. Part of our support local campaign, and now one of our clients. Wicked

I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately and found some good information - always trying to improve the shop and the process. Here’s a good one I read: Competition is healthy, and should be respected. Collaboration is critical and should be protected. This meant a few things to me as a small business owner, and especially as a decorator since I can’t do everything here in house. We have big competition and some seriously good shops around - @presstimedesign, @floodwayprintco..., @civilianscreenprinting and of course hundreds more in the province and country. They’re all awesome shops, but what is truly amazing is how all these shops help our shop out in times of need. Yes, im sure we trade clients and work against each other occasionally - but in a bind we’ve all helped each other out. I’ve personally done work with Floodway, Presstime, and even our closest neighbor Civilian. Collaboration not competition, you never know when a bridge you burned will be a bridge you have to cross. If one of us is better, it makes us all better! Happy long weekend guys! Hope you’re having fun. Try not to get too wet in the rain. See more
