The 2020-2021 campaign has now finished our GOAL was $25,000 and we raised $21,190 Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.... While we were a little shy of our goal the monies raised help support the Brummitt-Feasby ALS House; the only home with care and support in North America. Grief and Grieving over the Holidays Christmas time is here, and we think of those who are dear and so the story goes on. For those who are grieving a loss, it can be a difficult time. It does not have to be a person it may be a pet pets are part of our family and the human experience.... Grief is a normal reaction to loss. Bereavement is the state of being bereaved after someone important to us dies. When someone dies, we naturally grieve. It can impact our lives physically, socially, cognitively and emotionally. It can impact our bodies through muscle aches and pains, nausea, fatigue, and weakness along with other senses. There is so much to learn about grief; like getting adequate sleep & nutrition, making time to incorporate exercise a part of your daily routine. Learning to relax is not easy but can be very beneficial. Try to spend time with others even if it is a phone call or facetime conversation, interacting can help with bringing purpose and joy.
