Tomorrow my friend Tammy Elliott and I will be at Alternate Grounds Cafe & Dockside from 2- 6 collecting donations for this group - Caregivers of Petrolia Feral...s. They need; Monetary donations for vet care Dry / canned cat food and kitten food Small and medium tarps If you’d like to donate any of these items come see us at Docksides on Tuesday October 27 from 2- 6. Let’s come together and gather some donations to help this group out!!! This is a copy of her originalpost below ; As most of you know - myself and 2 other ladies look after 2 colonies of feral and semi - feral cats. Lots of times - it’s upwards of 40 cats. We vet them , feed them 365 days a year - fix them - and provide shelters that we hand make , winterizing with new straw and product each fall. We get drop offs lots of times and search for homes - or cats that are sick that owners no longer want will just leave them at the colony knowing we will help. The cost is becoming very high to maintain this. Everything is out of our pocket. We have had a few donors once in a while and it’s a massive relief. Would it seem too much to run a few fundraisers or ask for donations ? Certainly don’t want to appear greedy- just looking for support as it’s quite a labour of love. An expensive one. Very stressed.

Well folks, here is the sun coming up on the Last day of Dockside 2020-Season 9! It’s been a strange, scary and stressful season for sure! Thank you for your overwhelming support! Thank you for adapting with us and for coming out this year! We are open 11-2 today and then say goodbye during our last Chef Table dinners tonight. We will be back in April!

It’s a beautiful end to the season! Open today and tomorrow only! 11-2.
