Alberta will be there to help our small and medium sized businesses relaunch, with a $200 million boost to help those most affected by COVID-19. Starting tomorr...ow, small and medium sized businesses, co-operatives, and non-profits who faced public health restrictions due to COVID-19 and experienced a loss of at least 50% of their revenue will be able to apply for up to $5,000 in grants to help cover the costs of re-opening their doors. This grant can be used as they see fit, including equipment and supplies to prevent the spread of COVID-19, like physical barriers, protective equipment and cleaning supplies, or paying rent, employee wages, replacing inventory and more.
