So RMT’s are allowed to gradually start opening up again. I will be opening slowly and seeing clients that are essential meaning they need massage therapy to help them function in their daily lives (in pain). There are big changes to my massage practice to keep my clients and myself safe and a lot more cleaning and disinfecting needed between clients. For this reason, I can only see so many clients per month once I do fully open again. I will gradually see more clients as the CMTO deems RMT’s can open up fully. So as some of you already know, the college of massage therapists of Ontario strongly recommended every Registered massage therapist in Ontario immediately stop giving massages to everyone so as of Monday March 16th, 2020 I have closed temporarily. I have taken everything that is going on into consideration and have decided it is best for my clients, their families, myself and my family if I follow their advise and close my business for a while. I know there are RMTs still pr...acticing and that is on them but I need to do what’s ethical and right for my clients! I am hoping this won’t be for very long and that people do what the experts are saying to do which is practice social distancing so all of Ontario can get back to normal life as soon as possible. I hope that when this is over, that my clients will support me as I am doing what is best for them and continues be a client and book again with me.
