When I decided to promote a mail subscription of my notecards this year I wasn't sure what to expect but today my decision was affirmed as one of the best little ideas I've had in a while. I recieved an email from one of my mail recipients who recieved the gift from her niece. The woman who reached out to me is 95 years old and is in lockdown in Ontario in her senior residence. She let me know she enjoyed the card she recieved and we had a brief chat about mourning doves, which was the absolute highlight of my entire day!

A couple of the orders I've received for my mail subscription have been gifts for seniors living in assisted living facilities, which I have to tell you is maybe going to bring more joy for me to send then them to recieve.
