Our EDA has more than doubled in the past year and we had a fantastic strategic planning session last weekend. Really looking forward to getting to work with this amazing crew! "I think it sends a terrible message. I think it sets a very bad example." To say the least. The UCP, champions of personal responsibility, have shown themselves incapable of personal responsibility. I took a social media break over the holidays and was very disappointed to return to news of our provincial leaders jet-setting around the world while most of us were basically sheltering in place to protect our community. We are just wrapping up our year end fundraising campaign here in Calgary Beddington and it's been a great success! I have spoken to so many people this month who are frustrated with how the UCP has handled the pandemic, angry to see decades old coal policies that protected some of our most beautiful natural areas rolled back, and heartbroken at the lack of action taken to protect seniors living in long term care facilities. At the constituency level, we fundraise for 2023. ...It is both a long time from now and just around the corner. It is our next opportunity to reverse course on the short-sighted policies of the current government. We need to be ready and we need your help to get there.
