Had a thought today. It dawned on me in the gym today that I've been seeing more and more women wearing nothing but sports bras and short shorts and... I'm so here for it We are slooowly crushing diet culture and body shaming and while it seems to be taking a long time I see it dying a little every day.... If any of you reading this have recently come outside of your comfort zone by wearing something different, trying a new lipstick, stopped caring about being naked in front of your partner, or stepped away from a judgemental thought and into a loving one: I SEE YOU. And appreciate you so much. I can't wait for the day that every woman has her revelation that she is powerful, sexy and unique no matter what society is telling her. So this is your daily reminder to be authentic to yourself no matter what else you do in this world. You are CELEBRATED. Men, I hope you know are SO SEXY just the way you are. Let's always remember those soft lines have shown you love through your hardships. They're the late night pizza and wine. The brunches, lunches and nights out with your friends and family. If this is a struggle for you, don't try to jump right on the self love bandwagon. Just appreciate your body a little more today. You are worthy.

Before anybody sees me and worries, these marks are from cupping and gua sha. (Thanks to @amber.harper.rmt.) My marks are always dark purple. With my constitution I tend to stagnate when stressed or overwhelmed. The cups move Qi, release muscle tension, detox, release fascia, and bring healthy blood and circulation to the tissues. Gua sha does the same, but is more like skin scraping and can break up adhesions better to support healing. Both are great, and no, it doesn't hurt, but may be a little uncomfortable. 10/10 recommend

Let's not forget fertility isn't just about women. Men, while it may not be as widely known, there can often be causes in your life that may prevent you from being fertile, too! Here are some few of the common causes. If you find yourself checking these boxes and know someday you want to have a family, it might be time to talk to a health professional to get ahead of it

I have been learning, and continue to learn how to set boundaries. It's scary becoming a woman who knows what she wants and bringing those ideas to life. The hardest part has been the discomfort in knowing that my decisions could impact other people. Thats why boundaries are so hard, right? But who would I be if I didn't practice what I preach? We have to listen when our souls are speaking to us. I will not roll over if something isn't right. I will not accept an answer that I feel misaligned with. I will not be quiet about unfairness. I will communicate. I will try. Speak your truths, act accordingly

I've listened to so many stories in the last few weeks. Let's keep creating space to keep the conversations going. This is bigger than one Tuesday. #blackout

It's important to tap into how your body is feeling. You likely won't want to do HIIT every day of the month, or a yin yoga every day of the month. Switch things up for your minds sake as well as giving your body different types of benefits, movement and flow

Endocrine disrupters. If you want to balance your hormones, the first thing you need to do is not put toxins into your body. Found in: food (meats especially) personal care products cosmetics... pharmaceuticals home cleaning products pesticides (food/drink) plastics water soil There are a lot products being made without endocrine disrupters now. Do a little digging into the products you have, it's worth the health benefit.

have you heard of seed cycling? incorporating certain foods into your diet can help naturally balance hormones throughout your cycle. easy and nutritious, seeds have tons of other health benefits, too (see post below for a more in depth TCM take)
