We’ve missed out on a whole lot this year. We’ve had to sacrifice huge parts of our lives and daily routines. There’s been grief, loneliness, frustration and uncertainty. 2020 has just truly...sucked. But I’d like to take a minute to acknowledge some of the good this year has brought. If you’re not in the position to reflect on the positives yet - that’s okay. While I am still grieving/missing so many aspects of normal life, I also have immense gratitude for some of the w...onderful things this year has brought. To name a few: More time reading. I read a decent amount of books this year, which I typically struggle to make time for. It felt so indulgent to just spend an afternoon reading. How amazing is that? More time outdoors. The daily walk routine since the Spring lockdown has stayed pretty consistent. I’ve always loved just walking with no specific destination, and now I appreciate it even more. Witnessing the changing seasons. This went hand-in-hand with being outdoors more. I actually took notice of the seasons changing ever so slightly on a daily basis, and it has been truly awe inspiring. These subtle changes have always occurred in the background of my life, but this year I really took notice and lived IN it, rather than through it. Learning more about gardening and planting my Spring bulbs (can’t wait to see what peeks out of the earth next year!) Recognizing what’s truly important and appreciating the heck out of the people in my life. I’d love to hear your lessons/gratitude list of 2020. Let me know what this year brought YOU in the comments below. See more

reminder: it is not your responsibility to take on the fixing of others. you can listen, hold space, lend compassion + kindness, but you cannot do the work on behalf of someone else. there are no shortcuts through healing. am rmt.

We’re in the final month of 2020. And YOU MADE IT. WE MADE IT. It’s been a whirlwind of a year. Whew. Does anyone else feel like it went by extremely slow yet extremely fast?! If you managed to have an amazing, fulfilling, goal-crushing year - congrats! You deserve it.... And if your greatest achievement this year was simply making it through another day - also congrats! I’m proud of you. Lastly but certainly not least - THANK YOU ALL for your continued support this year (and every year!) Whether you’re a client, a colleague, a friend, or simply a follower on this page - I see you and I’m so thankful for you. Have a wonderful, restful, magical holiday season! A friendly reminder that masks must be worn for the entire treatment. Yes, even when face down on the treatment table. Yes, always covering both the nose and the mouth. ... Thank you for cooperation and understanding! Amanda Marrama RMT

Funny how that works. Our world as we know it is rapidly changing and we’re being presented with new information each and every day. Routines are being thrown out the window, change is CONSTANT and yet we still seem to get down on ourselves for being perpetually exhausted. While many factors can play a role in overall tiredness, try showing yourself a little self-compassion. Maybe you’re not tired because you’re not doing enough/too little, not trying hard enough/too littl...e, XYZ reason. Maybe you’re tired because... well, being a human being in 2020 (especially one who is marginalized, a POC, or underprivileged) is...incredibly tiring. Thinking of you all. Always. #covidfatigue #2020realness #selfcompassion See more

reminder: allow yourself to find joy amongst the chaos. when things feel impossible, take a moment to disconnect from it all. when things feel heavy, take a moment to find a little lightness. am rmt.
