2020 has been rough all around. So many things has come crashing down around the world, my family and my life. Some days I really question is this normal, is this a dream, and when is Ashton going to pop out. I have heard some people saying they aren’t celebrating thanksgiving as they don’t feel like they have anything to be thankful for and quite frankly I had my moments where I felt the same. As I sit here thinking about it I counted my blessings and realized I have so many... things to be thankful for. Yes this year has been one of the hardest. I heard my father in law talking to someone who was going through a lot and he said well god must really like you. Hearing this I had to take a moment to process. How can you think god really likes you if you are constantly handed struggles, tragedy, and misfortune. Then it clicked. I thought about how crazy our year has been and how I’m still breathing, I’m still able to laugh, cry, and love. This year has taught me how to be a stronger person. I’ve grown so much personally because I haven’t had a choice and this I am incredibly thankful for. To make changes you need to be made uncomfortable. Growth isn’t easy. So this year I am thankful for my family, my health, growth, determination, the roof over my head, the food on my table, perseverance, the hard times and so much more. 2020 isn’t over but I know together we can get through it. And for this I am thankful. See more
