Here is another great memory of collaboration. Former Michigan Gov. Synder & I worked together on one of the largest infrastructure projects, the Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor & Detroit. https://twitter.com/INFC_eng/status/783801388614705152

Collaboration is key to achieving results. Here is another great memory. As Clark mentioned, I convinced my provincial counterparts to partner with municipalities to help design Canada's largest infrastructure plan.... https://twitter.com/clarksomervi/status/1369972936661159940

I have some great memories of working with mayors from across Canada. Together we designed one of the largest infrastructure plans in Canadian history to help grow the economy, create jobs & build better communities. https://twitter.com/FCM_online/status/870431777587900421

Hats off to the resiliency of protesting farmers and their supporters. Despite the rain and frigid weather, they are determined to continue their fight to protect their livelihood. https://www.hindustantimes.com//story-SqchaP5AX1EBXL0OINJ2

Dear friends, 2020 has been a tough year for many of us on many levels. The COVID-19 pandemic and its ramifications have caused anxiety, isolation and pain, exposing our deepest vulnerabilities. But it has also revealed something beautiful in us: Our ability to be compassionate, humble, and empathetic. Our family has experienced your generosity in these difficult and uncertain times. We thank you for being there for us.... As we venture into the new year, I hope that we will keep finding ways to nurture our human potential and strengthen our relationships with each other and with the communities we call home. From our family to yours, we wish you a happy and prosperous 2021. With warmest regards, Amarjeet, Sarbjeet and Seerat

Are you a bus driver, a long-haul truck driver, a grocery store clerk, a paramedic, a healthcare worker or any other essential worker in Alberta? Then, ask why the Alberta gov't is denying you a $4/per hour wage top-up from the Trudeau government. https://www.theglobeandmail.com//article-alberta-request/

When I was a kid, my mom would carry me around, picking cotton from our farm or looking after livestock while my dad tilled the land. She was the first to rise & the last one to go to bed. In her memory, I support #KisanEktaMorcha #FarmersProtest.... https://www.globalcitizen.org//india-farmer-protests-women/

Front-line workers deserve better than this from the Kenney government. They have/are risking their wellbeing during this pandemic to keep us safe & our economy moving. They are our heroes & deserve this top up in wages. ... https://www.theglobeandmail.com//article-alberta-request/

Friends, Edmonton charities need our help. There are some great auction items to select from here. Let's try outbidding each other while supporting the mental wellbeing of kids. https://edmontonjournal.com//nick-lees-casa-charity-auctio

Do you want to understand why Indian farmers from across India are marching to Delhi? Below is a quick summary of the issues. It's not about religion, extremism or politics. Farmers are basically fighting for their livelihood. ... I hope the talks between the farmers and the government will help resolve these issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjS6TcZu94E

Linda Hut's Edmonton City Hall School is my favourite. This week kids from Hillview school watched the City Council in action, learned about homelessness, poverty, and equality. Today, I was honoured to engage with them about the importance of listening, humility, compassion & collaboration in leadership.

Dear friends, Our family is currently going through unimaginable grief. My dearest Veer (brother) Jagdev Sohi passed away early this morning. For me, Sarbjeet and Navseerat, his presence was larger than life. He was a mentor who taught us the value of decency, fairness, and never giving up. He was the first Sohi in Canada. He's the reason I'm here, in more ways than one. His commitment to community was my introduction to politics. Jagdev and his wife, my Bhabi Rajinder's com...mitment to family is the reason so many of us have been able to thrive here. Many of you reached out to give your condolences and share memories of how Jagdev touched your lives. We are overwhelmed by all the love and support and I can't wait to share more with you about my brother and his influence on me in the near future. In the meantime, we are trying to stay strong and support each other.

I started volunteering with community leagues a few years after immigrated to Canada. My collaboration with the Federation of Community Leagues continued at the city hall & as a member of Parliament. Yesterday, we joined again to mark the opening of the new plaza at Hewrelak Park!!
