Royal Canadian Br. 143 Would like to thank the volunteers and all that came to our first event since the reopening Covid-19 closure. Our volunteers that helped put on the event did a incredible job on a short notice.... To all that came out to support the Branch, Thank You. To the crew of riders that came in from Chatham a warm and heartfelt Thank You to you as well. We hope to have more events soon. If you would like to help the branch in volunteering to help with these events. Please leave your name with the Bartender for or Events Executive Chairmen. With our members and volunteers we will make it though these troubling times. Again from the Executive Committee and all our Volunteers we thank all that came out to support RCL Ambassador Branch 143.

Now that our Legion is open, we had the distinct Honor to Award Gale Noah her 50th Golden Anniversary Metal and her 50th year Service Pin. As well, a well deserved comrade of our branch Walter Klaczko was awarded his Branch Service Metal for his years of voluntary service to the Poppy Campaign, working with our cadets and his general willingness to help whenever needed. Our congratulations goes out to these distinguished comrades for their service to the Royal Canadian Legion.... In an upcoming bulletin, a list of Honors and Awards recipients will be posted for and upcoming General Meeting. Please watch for your name so you can be there to receive your Honor or Award.

YES WE ARE OPEN, AGAIN Royal Canadian Legion Branch 143, is now open from 1200 (12 noon) until 1800 (6pm) Monday till Saturday. As we merge into full operation we will start with these limited hours for now.... Our Executive Comrades are starting to plan to resume other activities in the near future like our house leagues and socials following the guidelines of the government mandated restrictions. To start it all off we have planned a BBQ Event for September 5th for the Labor Day weekend. If you are in the neighborhood and would like to enjoy some fresh BBQ with some Comrades you’ve not seen in some time, come join up for an afternoon of fellowship and a few drinks to wash that freshly made BBQ treats down.

We are pleased to announce our reopening. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 143 will open on Monday the 17th of August 2020 at noon. We have completed a reopening plan in accordance with the Health Ministry Guidelines. The Lounge has been thoroughly cleaned and organized for physical distancing. With these measures in place, we believe our Lounge to be a safe place to reconnect with Comrades. We look forward to seeing you there!
