Our generation inherited a system laced with inherent bias and systemic racism. Today and all days, as a white person with the priviledge that that comes with, I want to be an active part of the solution, not a passive part of the problem. We do this by elevating and amplifying BIPOC voices, shutting down racist and inflammatory rhetoric when we encounter it, and educating ourselves on how to be not just an ally, but an *effective one*.
