A few photos of the progress at my Cortes Cliff new build project. I wanted this home to feel thoughtfully curated and warm so it was important to include handcrafted elements wherever possible. The mudroom floor is terracotta handmade in Mexico that will patina with age. ... Throughout, Sapele wood cabinetry has been custom made by a local Cortes cabinet maker. The kitchen sink is a handmade fireclay with a beautiful imperfect shape. The shell and stone backsplash mosaic is going to be the icing on the cake!
